os gêmeos @ the ica

last friday, some friends and i went to the ica's brazilian street party celebrating the opening of the their os gêmeos exhibit.

it was really fun and the exhibit was awesome to see. i had sort of hoped that there would be more works in the exhibit, but the ones they did show were amazing so i can't say i was all that disappointed.

and i totally found my patronus in one of the pieces

this guy reminded me of prince. his purple suit had actual sequins all over it and was sort of perfect

earlier in the week, i went down to dewey square to check out the progress on os gêmeos' giant mural overlooking the rose kennedy greenway.

the mural is so cool and so important to this city and its severe lack of public art. i don't really have anything to say about the bullshit controversy surrounding the mural because it's just plain dumb.
