last weekend i sorted through a ton of binders and folders leftover from fashion school, and i came across this:

i don't know the source, i only vaguely remember that it was given to us in a packet by the best professor i had the fashion department (who only stayed for one short year, sadly).

those statements are so true. i think that sometimes we get so hung up on envying people who seem to have it all together and opportunities just seem to constantly fall into their lap. but in most of those cases, those people probably worked pretty hard behind the scenes to get where they're at. keeping that in mind makes me want to work harder and harder.
