euro 2012 pt II

so portugal didn't make it past spain yesterday in the semi-finals of euro 2012, which means that i'm sad i no longer get to see this face during the competition:

and it also means that i am now hoping that germany takes it all!

it's germany vs italy today. again, i don't know all that much about european football, but apparently germany and italy have a pretty big rivalry, so this should be a good game.

euro 2012

have you been watching any of the euro 2012 tournament? i'm only a casual follower of soccer, but for some reason, the european championship tournament is my favorite. i watched it it 2008 and i'm excited about it again this year.

and of COURSE i'm rooting for portugal, who were sadly defeated by germany last saturday. portugal plays again today at noon vs denmark, so i'm hopeful they can get a win.

and if not, at least i'll get to watch cristiano ronaldo run around the field for 90 minutes.
